Ah nice. Was thinking of crabbing out of my kayak. Guess I would need to make sure the waves weren't too bad.

I see lots of guys doing it. I'm too big a sissy to try it. They crab in 50-80' of water when they're in the bay itself. That's a lot of line to keep up with when you're on a kayak.

How was the basin in general? Ton of people out there for youth?

didn't see a single other hunter, heard very little shooting. there was a strong woodie flight at dawn like you'd expect, but after that, nothing. saw two high flocks of non-woodies later in the morning, but that was it.

Tried to shoot all green today, but one hen was collateral damage and one was shot in the sun. Ended with 10 mallards, a teal, and a widgeon. Wish we'd have had a couple more guns

Had a good shoot Sat. with 4 limits. Could've really worked on some more mallards and pintails if there hadn't been so much shooting going on. Had lots of groups of 10-15 lock up and circle.

Made my first bow kill this weekend. If I wasn't addicted before, it's on now.
