Jennings was not to blame for this loss. He's not an SEC quality quarterback and should have been replaced for the second half. He's limited, he does not have the kind of ability to lift a team up. Les Miles looked like a feeble old man trying to describe something he couldn't see well when explaining what went wrong after the game. He seemed perplexed and unwilling to admit his team was flat. His strongest criticism was the Tigers were out of rhythm early in the game with a delay of game penalty and errant snap. But he continues to fail to notice that Anthony Jennings is not capable of getting anything out of the passing game. Les said "It's not Anthony's fault" and he's right. It's Les' fault, beginning with poor recruiting of the quarterback position for ALL 10 YEARS, constant turnover in offensive coordinators, and a failure to coach Jennings up. He doesn't want to use the excuse of youth, except for when he does use the excuse. The freshmen have nearly a whole season under their belts.

Insert the cliché here 'They aren't freshmen any more.' He's got talented wide receivers dropping passes, when they actually get delivered close enough to get hands on them, and a quarterback who simply offers no threat to an opposing defenses. For Brandon Harris to not take a snap in that game was unconscionable. He does have the ability to lift up the players around him with his speed and strong throwing arm. He could hardly have done worse than 123 yards and no points.
