Les Miles looked like a feeble old man trying to describe something he couldn't see well when explaining what went wrong after the game. He seemed perplexed and unwilling to admit his team was flat. His strongest criticism was the Tigers were out of rhythm early in the game with a delay of game penalty and errant snap. But he continues to fail to notice that Anthony Jennings is not capable of getting anything out of the passing game. Les said "It's not Anthony's fault" and he's right. It's Les' fault, beginning with poor

the one where harris led the team to a TD and jennings didn't lead them to any points?

neither QB converted a third down in that game. 0-13. and jennings played half of the game.

You realize we got shut out, right? Zero points? So what's the risk?

Chicken, are you saying Miles should not have given Harris a chance last night? I doubt LSU could have scored less than 0 points.

It's obvious when players speak of him. Don't thin these kids don't know who is the best, they absolutely do. And you can hear it in their voices when asked.

The bigger issue is not lifting them up, it is AJ letting them down...constantly.

10 years of crappy QB recruiting with no development.

Auburn is better than Arkansas, have you forgotten that already?

And yes, imagine that, a true freshman starting his first start on the road at a heated rivals field that had played int he national championship last year....so he had a rough outing...THAT IS ONE! How many bad outings does AJ have to have to get relieved?

Yet is is what keeps you hopeful with AJ, huh?

Because Jennings hasn't shown any improvement and Harris is the only other option we have. Yeah, he sucked it up against Auburn but that was his first SEC start and it was on the road at Jordan-Hare. We need to start getting him some real game experience but Miles has refused to rotate him into the game despite saying that he may do so over and over and over again in pressers.

He might not actually be any better than Jennings, but we have to give him a shot and what we saw at Auburn was not a fair shot for a freshman QB with little experience

No, I just don't see why someone like Kleinpeter think Harris can lift up the team. He had a chance against Auburn and it was ugly.

I would have certainly given him a shot last night. Miles overthinks the QB position. Perhaps he is afraid he will bruise their fragile psyches if he has to bench one that is struggling.

I don't think this is fair at all, you had a true freshman making his first start on the road against at the time a top 5 team. Harris was ugly but again I think at this point he would be a breath of fresh air and against A&M you would get a better gauge on where he is as a player.

I don't think Miles understands the depth of the quarterback position, at the same time undervaluing it. I am beginning to finally come around to agree with the ones who say he is locked in the 70's, unfortunate as that is. He seems to fear addressing the QB position in general. QB development left LSU with Jimbo Fisher. I posted something to that effect in Jimbo's first year at FSU and got raked for it.

Kevin Mawae just some avg joe that played on the O-line at LSU had an Ok career in the pros. Only one of my top 10 favorite tigers .. Said he we walked more yards in his house than LSU had in total offense .. Kevin is about as good as it comes..
