My family always celebrates Christmas on Christmas Eve. Kinda strange, I know

Religiously? It connects to the day of Jesus' birth...i.e. Wise men traveling from afar. I celebrate Christmas and the days before because it is all part of the events leading up to Jesus' birth.

I think kids from divorced parents will agree with me on this one. I'm able to be with my dad and his family on Christmas Eve and my mom and her family on Christmas Day. Works out fine.

Other than that, I don't have any other ideas.

X-mas eve in most places is even more important than X-mas day itself...........

Being the most anticipated holiday on the calendar, one would think that all the excitement culminates on the day and night before.
