I considered that too, but it just seemed a little ridiculous. Who has that kinda time?

TigerWise, please chime in. I was asking you this question because you go there a lot.

You having a misunderstanding with someone interweb again ? Shocker. Another classic example of you comparing blah blah blah experience in ATL with another poster's blah blah blah experience in South LA. You have a Kroger great, when I lived in TX I shopped at Kroger too. But just like every other grocery chain I've been to all locations aren't the same and do not stock the same items. For the most part grocery stores here have sucked. It wasn't until WF came into the market that the other guys here started stepping up their game. I never realized how bad the stores were in the NOLA area until I moved to TX.

You want specialty items ? I don't want to sit here an argue about these things. I can say I really like the hibiscus blueberry ice tea or the pineapple teriyaki beef sausage and you will respond with something like my Kroger has tea and my Kroger has sausage.

I don't know what's available for you in your area nor do I know you shopping needs. For me the WF in Metairie has the best overall combination of produce, seafood, meats, cheeses, prepared foods and beer. But I'm not shopping for a family of 4 brah. I'm just trying to keep myself gangtsa chubby ya heard.

One of my favorite things ever!

And for anyone doing low carb- my very unhealthy husband (who knows everything I substitute for its healthy equivalent) could not tell when I made chicken parm with trader joes almond meal instead of bread crumbs. I am still in awe.

WF isn't as vastly overpriced as it once was, I think. I went there a few weeks ago and picked up a few sirloin steaks and chicken breast.. not quite as bad as I thought it'd be, although definitely pricier than the stuff I buy at Target.

I really miss having LeBlanc's Frais Marche right by my place.. Although they are opening a Frais Marche where Hi Nabor used to be in Drusilla Village

So for the second day in a row I've gotten a free smoked turkey neck from WF. There is some type of error with the price tag in the meat department. It won't ring up at the cashier and they have just given them to me twice now. Wouldn't say I'm getting over on them because we are talking about $2. However both times I donated the $2 to 2nd harvest food bank drive they are doing.

The neck is delicious
