K-tel Records "Believe In Music" LINK
This, dubiously, is where it all began. I bought it for Brandy, which at six years old sounded like a pretty cool grown-up story story about sailors and whisky.
Brandy (You're A Fine Girl)-Looking Glass
Beautiful Sunday-Daniel Boone
Sunny Days-Lighthouse
How Do You Do?-Mouth And McNeil
Long Cool Woman In A Black Dress-The Hollies
Go Away Little Girl-Donny Osmond
Back Stabbers-The O'Jays
Go All The Way-The Raspberries
Fly Pretty Baby-Andy And David Williams
Maggie May-Rod Stewart
Sealed With A Kiss-Bobby Vinton
Gypsys, Tramps And Thieves-Cher
Sylvia's Mother-Dr. Hook And The Medicine Show
Sweet And Innocent-Donny Osmond
Hold Your Head Up-Argent
Let It Rain-Eric Clapton
Let Your Yeah Be Yeah-Brownsville Station
No-Bulldog
Money Back Guarantee-Five Man Electrical Band
Speak To The Sky-Rick Springfield
Down By The River-Albert Hammond
I Believe In Music-Gallery
$3.99 and on 8-track $5.99
Wore that album out.

Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morrissette was gifted to me so I guess that counts.

Rock and Roll over was on my list of first albums too. It was my first "trade". I traded for it with ZZ Top Fandango.

Rock and Roll over
To boys of our age group that was the undeniable Gateway Album.

I had every Kiss record on vinyl (even solos), through Creatures of the Night... I traded them away in HS to some older dude for cheap booze... oh well, at least I got a buzz and for my troubles...

Jock Rock Volume 1 is the first album I remember owning. First song I ever downloaded off the internet was Voodoo by Godsmack because I was a little douche. Downloaded it off Napster in 2000.

I was probably around 12 years old.
