I was a hunchback for like 5 years straight. I have muscular dystrophy - so have always walked with a really pronounced limp - and would just put a pillow underneath the back of my shirt, hunch over a little, and gimp around.

My Mom made me a Fozzy the Bear outfit one year. It was awesome bc it was WARM. Halloweens in DC could get chilly sometimes.

I dressed up like a pumpkin for a couple years. The pumpkin even had a picture of a pumpkin on it.

Why would Yoda wear a shirt with Yoda on it?

All of these are so bizarre.
"See the persons face I'm wearing!? I'm also wearing their face so you know who's face I'm wearing."
I guess you're too young to remember the 70's & 80's. That's how they all were. I remember wearing one like his one year...

Had this minus the glove. Mom was too cheap. She made me one with an old ski glove, card board, tin foil, & tape.

It was all about the shitty plastic masks back in the day.
I went as a transformer one year and it resembled the ones in the OP.
Also obviously went as a crayon before as well.

I was a California raisin one year. Was pissed at my mom for that one.

Those plastic masks were Africa hot. And the rubberband in the back always pulled my hair.

Yeah, I don't get what's "embarrassing" about most of those.
I never understood why older costumes had a picture of who you are supposed to be on it. Shouldn't the costume be self explanatory?
