I think Harris could do what Jennings is doing now, just not on the road against a top 10 team.

LSU would be in a world of hurt if AJ went down. The Auburn game proved that Harris just is not ready yet. I believe he will be ready, just not this year. AJ gives LSU just enough to have a chance to win. It may not be a lot, but it's the best chance available right now.

Just my justification...We saw what our defense was like without Beckwith,

no. the defense made a lot of changes and got a lot of needed experience. I really don't think you could credit the improvement to one person or anything close to that. welter was in there for a reason and he was a stop gap for sure but our DL has improved the most of any area and it made our secondary much better. crazy enough, I think it benefited these guys to get burned so badly by state and the barn.

I believe there is some truth in that statement

Offense: Pocic and LF

Defense: Beckwith, Adams, and Kwon

ETA: I agree that there are just so many stepping up.

I do think Harris may respond a bit differently should AJ be injured/out of the picture......he would still have issues.

I also totally agree that in time Harris will turn out to be a super star. He's a TRUE FRESHMAN (Yes, I know about early entry).

The answer is kwon on defense. He has been awesome for two years and doesn't get enough love.

Jennings is not doing much of anything right now.

Hell he threw 1 pick for every 4 completions last game.

Handing the ball off 50 times and throwing for 50% or less does not make him the most valuable member of the offense. Sorry. He's a below average QB at best.

Collins , LF, Magee, and Dural are the offensive MVPs so far

On D, Kwon has consistently been our best player all year. But the additions of Beckwith and Adams took this D to a new level. And Hunter and Rasco have stepped their game to a new level. White is our best CB by far.

I'd go with Collins on offense, too.

On defense, Kwon is still my pick, but it has certainly gotten more interesting. These guys deserve mention, too:

Hunter
Beckwith
J.Adams
T.White -- still dang solid.

The guy in the soph slump, somewhat, is RR. He is still very productive, but seems to me he has a confidence problem. CBs, like QBs, need to be able to "flush" that bad play and move on. He seems to struggle with this at times, and let's his emotions run. Once he get whatever that is straightened out, he may be on everyone's defensive MVP short list.

D: Kwon

O: LF (was going to go o line but they've come on late. Other than the Wisky game LF has averaged 5+ yards every game, his only problem was not getting it enough.)
