Codney Amest had just put her son and two nieces on the bus and was sitting on her porch when she said she saw the truck strike two girls, go into a ditch, come out airborne and then strike another girl and the telephone pole.
Another resident in the area, Apollonia Amest, said . . . . . . the driver crawled out the back window of his truck screaming, “it wasn’t him.”

I'm not good enough to forgive folks who perpetrate such horror or to not wish unspeakable suffering upon them.

has anyone said if the kids were siblings or not?
I don't want kids, but that being said if we do change our mind or something like this happened to wife or family I am not sure how I could keep myself from revenge

I would do whatever it took to kill that son of a bitch thug piece of shite driver even if I have to go to prison for the rest of my life. I've seen how the loss of a child can just really destroy a parent and it's just so heart breaking.
The family has my thoughts and prayers. May they persevere and endure this tragedy and heal properly to the fullest extent possible.

It's just an awful thing to happen, especially when the driver (from all accounts) was acting a damn fool. Totally preventable. Makes me so mad and sad I feel sick when I think about it.

The driver is Jeremy J. Abraham of Breaux Bridge.
I cannot confirm this is the driver, only going off of the name and the red truck pictured.

Sad situation. I saw that video a little earlier. Guy crawled out the back window and was laying in the ditch saying he didn't do it. He's obviously highly impaired.

Do you know if all 3 are related then? The news is reporting the same last name for all 3. This makes me unbelievably angry and sad.
