Holy shite, that truck is fricked up. How fast was he going? He must have hit another vehicle or something.
Prayers to the families of everyone involved.

UPDATE: State Police Trooper Jared Sandifer now says that two children were hit by a truck and killed this morning in the 800 block of Martin Street in Breaux Bridge while walking to school. A third child was also hit and is listed in serious condition at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge.
State Police initially reported that all three children were killed.
Well at least one kid is still hanging in there. I hope that kid pulls through.

Looking at that truck tells me he was probably going far faster than 25-35 MPH.
Yea that front end is destroyed. I have to believe he ran into another vehicle or something before that. Prayers for the kids and their families.

I couldn't imagine that happening. On a street like that, you should be going less than 25 before or after school. I have to drive down a street like that (narrow/no sidewalks) to get to my daughter's school and there are often kids walking to the bus stop or waiting for the bus. I feel like I'm speeding if I'm going 20. Prayers for those families. It's a shame that they are the victims of what appears to be a completely irresponsible action.

That truck must've rolled. The rear tire is flat and the bedside is caved in.
