They barely hosted a playoff series last season and got progressively worse in the offseason

if you're watching nba tonight you can see that Parsons won't be missed with the addition of Ariza.

You keep telling yourself that champ.

Ariza had a great first game with the Hornets, too.

Also, just a friendly reminder, AD had a higher PER last year than Dwight's best year as a pro. At 20.

he's not the same player. Does the same belinelli that played for hornets play for the spurs now? NO. When players get in winning organizations with a defined role their performance tends to improve.

wouldnt expect a pels fan to know about a winning culture though.

Houston has had a winning season somehting like 26 of the last 31 seasons, only 1 or 2 other franchises can make that claim. go head on and play in the sandbox you're outta your league homie.

Why didn't Ariza realize he was playing for a winning organization the first time with Houston, then?

he was asked to do too much on those teams, he's the clear 3rd banana now and has a well defined role.

Think about that for a second...

Trevor Ariza is your third best player.

5-6 from 3 16 points.

solid D on the perimeter.

80% of the league will take that from their 3rd wheel. he's just what houston needs.
