I haven't done it at my home but my parents definitely do. They are in a much better neighborhood. I don't totally blame them either. It's so obvious.

No. They do have something to do with one another. You're judging kids by looking at them. You think those kids are leeches? You think they make the decisions? You're just a jerk who apparently enjoys being judgmental to children. Big man.
well if I can clearly see that the kid is too old to trick or treat & doesn't even have a costume on them is it really being judgemental? Or did u just judge me and can't even read the frickING OP ? But some how, I hate special needs kids, lol

What about an older kid who maybe is slow? I have a friend with a 21 year old daughter who doesn't understand a trick or treat age limit. She also looks like any other person. Just very simple minded. Some kids may not be impaired but are just a little behind emotionally and may want to keep going a little longer than other kids. As for kids without costumes, maybe they can't afford them. A lot of kids with autism just can't do costumes. But, they still get candy and the interaction may be good for them. The point is, you don't know what the deal is with a kid by interacting with them for 30 seconds. You just think you do and prefer to make a snap judgment.

If true, that's pretty sad.

Again that's sad.
Either be woman enough to say no or give them what you gave to the others.

The candy is for the kids not adults.

I agree. But why deliberately insult someone?

My dream is to make chicken noodle soup, and when the 17 yr olds come by, just ladle it in. Of course my house and car would be set ablaze, but for one moment...

So.... you only give good candy to the rich kids that live in your neighborhood who probably get good candy all the time... and give crappy candy to the poor kids that come to your neighborhood?

And if they are older and trying to find something fun to do on Halloween that they can afford, like go trick or treating in their 1995 corolla piled 8 deep and having to use a wal-mart bag, you decide to get on here and make fun of them?

What the frick dude?

Either don't give anyone candy, or buy an amount you want to give away equally to everyone, and don't be a dick. Be glad those kids aren't rolling your fricking yard, cause that's what I was doing at 13.

My friend's mom always took us to neighborhoods we didn't live in to go trick or treating, it wasn't cause we were poor or from a poor neighborhoods, it's cause we lived in the country and it was 300 yards between each house. The people in those neighborhoods were super nice and loved Halloween and did all sorts of cool stuff to scare the kids. Maybe you should just leave your light off next year.
