I didn't realize Wal Mart did layaway on guns

They have a DPMS AR15 for $699 and a Colt AR15 for $1049.00. Also have the Judge rifle for $500. Trying to decide on the DPMS or Colt

i did not buy the Judge rifle. Was just saying it was pretty cool to see them selling it .

I just don't understand the difference between saving up money and buying something and putting it on layaway. One you save yourself, the other you give the savings to the store until you have enough to take the item home.
And if you don't have the cash hanging around to buy a gun, maybe you don't need that gun.
