Got a Big Azz Gator Today 12'4".....Pics Added

Filled my first tag of two today on Lake Toho near St Cloud Florida
Got with a snag hook blind casting in an area where we saw another gator that definitely wasn't nearly as big went down.
Took 2 of us to snag & he ran us 8-900 yards through the weeds, then got a harpoon shot in and finally got him close and .44 magnum in a bangstick finished him off. Had to cleat him off and get back to landing.....took 5 off us to roll him in boat!
12 foot 4 inches and weighed 643# Will post some pics later for those of you who don't have FB

Blowing air in to separate hide from meat easier

i dont like the way you incinuate we are coonasses who love chootin aligators just because we from LA.

Would not try out of my 16 Hell's Bay....phenomenal flats skiff......NOT designed for gator hunting unless you want to swim with them!!!

Great one. I hunted Toho a few years ago and didn't come across any big ones. I've got a Hancock tag that I may end up eating as my partners boat is out of commission. Sucks!
