Thought that was just a brace. Do you have any pictures/links?

Some of those are just sad...

I believe they had snapped a 22-game losing streak or something like that.

ETA: They snapped a 23-game SEC losing streak, for those who are interested in the history of mediocrity.

I didn't rush the field after we beat Florida in 97. I had OT class as a Freshman. I did however laugh as the goal post made it closer and closer to the top of the NEZ to be thrown over. Probably good thing someone put a stop to that.

2001 AU was the last time to my knowledge.

I was there for 2000 Tennessee...I was 6-7 yrs old and mommy wouldn't let me rush the field. I was still given a piece of the eye from that game.

Two reasons. It clinched the SECW and punched Tommy the Terrible in the proverbial gut after his cigar-smoking celebration from '99.

I was there to rush the field vs Tennessee in 2000. I have a decent size chunk of goal post foam up in my attic. The color has faded pretty bad on it.

Does anyone suppose Florida has fallen far enough to rush the field if they were to knock off a top-tier program?

That is a bitter bunch down there right now. I bet if they announce over the PA at the next game that Muschamp has been fired, they would rush the field at that exact moment.

This X Infinity... I will be so embarrassed of our fans if they rush the field. I wouldn't want them to do it no matter who they were playing....but to do it against a team that hasn't sniffed a conference title in over 50 years.....would be incredibly embarrassing as a program. I hope those kids don't do this.

Hollow: I don't often agree with you, but I do on this one 100%.

We'd better not rush the field if we win against Ole Miss. That would be extremely embarrassing for a program like ours.

I'll be happy with a win, but pissed if anyone rushes the field.

I hope this doesn't happen if LSU wins. It's silly, we're not some downtrodden underdog just because we lost a couple of games, and Ole Miss is not the team of the century.

I would love to rush the field it's one of my last 2 games as a senior undergrad at LSU, that being said I know it would be embarrassing. I was like 9 years old when I went to the bama game in 2000 I think and they stormed the field I always thought it would be awesome to do that one day.

If we rush the field against an inferior program with no championship implications on our side I will forever casty.

They might have done it had they beaten Florida St. last year.

Prior to south carolina, was the last time Kentucky rushed the field the Bluegrass Miracle?
