No. I've only been able to make it back to Tiger Stadium a couple of times since I left La. One was the 2003 game against the Gators and the second was a game against Bama in the mid 90s and we get our arse kicked. I guess that's the reason I haven't been invited back.

I was at that game. My dad, his girlfriend and my 10th grade girlfriend. First college game of any type she had been to. The game was even better than the hotel hot tub that night.

That's the game poor DJ Shockley got his HELLO to Tiger Stadium! I REALLY REALLY REALLY felt sorry for him when the starting QB (who was it?) went out to be checked out and DJ came in ... UGA was driving from the SEZ but idk if they ever got past the 10 yard line.

That's also the game we gave my sis-in-law tickets to. And she tried to leave before the end ... yeah, we didn't let her. Dumbass.

I agree that USC 79 is way up there. The only reason I didn't put it #1 is because we lost the game. ND 71 left no margin of error for poor officiating to come in to play and the crowd had everything to do with that.

Jarvis TD to take the lead vs Bama in 2012 is the loudest burst of noise I've heard at a game in my life.

I haven't been to many games, especially not in winning years. I was at the Earthquake game. I guess that was intimidating.

Other than the '03 Georgia game, some others that seemed intimidating to me (watching at home) were the Florida and Auburn games in both 2005 and 2007, South Carolina in 2007 and 2012, and Alabama in 2010.

Don't remind me of that game, please. That bothers me more than the NC loss.

I was at the 79 USC , 83 FSU, 03 UGA
All incredible in their own rite. I count myself very fortunate. We should all be thankful to have such history and passion.

“Usually when the opposing team does well, the crowd quiets down. All I began to hear was a chant ‘L-S-U, L-S-U.’ It got louder and louder and louder. It was the loudest I’ve ever heard a stadium.”

My parents were at the Ole Miss game with the magical clock. I understand that was intimidating.

1972 Game was not that great, Ole Miss dominated LSU. But that final 3 minute drive was incredible.

That wasn't really intimidating to Georgia...it was inspiring to LSU...but great moment either way

Not so, I remember Georgia's second string QB couldn't get a play off due to crowd noise. I was still in the clothes I had gone out in because I hadn't gone home or went to sleep and was hungover as hell

That's a great story. Thanks... Mine is still the entire three hours of the 79 USC game and the 15 minutes AFTER the loss when the entire crowd did the same thing... But seriously.. I REALLY GOT THIS FOR THE FIRST TIME THANKS to your retelling. Great job.

In terms of pure intimidation I would have to go with Virginia Tech 2007. They were so incredibly petrified it wasn't funny.

my favorite was when Borne had the gumption to announce to the crowd that USC had lost when we were down 10 points to Florida in '07.

Tiger Stadium went completely nuts, the band played Pregame, it was pandemonium. That was the loudest I'd heard Tiger Stadium until the Jarvis Landry TD catch and the JC Copeland romp down the sidelines against Bama in '12.
