The noise in Tiger Stadium following the USC/Stanford score in 2007 was incredible. I believe LSU just scored (closing the lead to 17-14), so the stadium was already loud. After the USC score was announced, everyone knew we'd be the unanimous #1 team with a win. The noise level at that moment was unreal and still gives me chills thinking about it today.
Oddly enough, UF marched right down the field for a TD, so maybe that moment wasn't as intimidating as it was just plain incrediballs.

We've all witnessed how those Tigers dominate when the crowd takes over the game. It's like a feeding frenzy. Makes me wanna tackle the dog and run outside to sack my neighbor.
IMO the most DOMINATING performance was that same year against Arky.. A 55-24 BEATDOWN of epic proportions............. Arky didn't stand a chance after the opening ko.

I was there. Not sure if I'd just never paid attention before or if it was because I'd only ever been to true night games but that day was the first time I ever heard "Ladies and gentlemen, its the beginning of the fourth quarter. The son will soon find its home in the western sky. And it will be Saturday night in Death Valley."
Still gives me chills. Those were the days, man.

LSU's goal line stand against Notre Dame in 1986

I would agree with all that are mentioned, uf 07,97 and uga 03, and I would also add bama from a few years ago even though they scored late to win a close one that was the most electric ive seen death valley in a long time

Both the UGA & Fla games were incredible, but for actual proof of how intimidating TS used to be, this quote from USC's All American LB, after the LSU/USC game, says it all. He aaid "playing in TS makes playing Notre Dame seem like Romper Room". He said running out of the tunnel & seeing this Tiger growling at him was one of the most scarest moments of his life.

Easily '03 Georgia. Like people have said...loudest sustained noise I've ever heard!

A great game. Crowd was electric.

UGA 03 might not have been the loudest the crowd in tiger stadium has ever been, but it was without a doubt the most impactful the crowd has ever been. UGA scores, the crowd should be deflated, and then the student section & band starts in on an LSU chant that sweeps the whole stadium. That day, the rest of the nation found out that LSU was back and for real.

This was truly an educated crowd that smelled blood in the water. When Shockley came in the noise on 1st down was as loud as the noise you would expect on a 4th down conversion attempt. The entire crowd was anticipating the sack and fumble, or interception. Sustained noise for 3 straight downs.
I was there as well. To this day, I tell people at UGA about that very series and try to explain to them "OK, imagine the loudest you've ever heard Sanford Stadium after a big TD. That was the baseline level of crowd noise during that series."
Everyone has heard of "not being able to hear yourself think", but that was the only time in my life I've ever experienced it.

Once LSU threw a pass on first down. That was intimidating.

One of the best games in TS history and yes the LSU chant in the 4th after the TD was greatness never to be duplicated. I was in the student section for that game and was one of the best times I've ever had
I will also add the Florida 97 game. Even during TV timeouts the stadium was going nuts. The band also helped by playing the pregame song a lot during those timeouts and keeping the fans fired up

Most intimidating moment in TS history
The game DJ Shockley had to enter as a freshman in 2003 and he had his arse handed to him by our defense.

I hope you came back for 2008 when y'all had a pick 6 on the game's first snap. Ugh.
Definitely a better experience for the UGA fans that game.

Not sure if this would qualify as a "moment" but the 79' game against USC was the game that most influenced the mystique of how intimidating Tiger Stadium can be. That great USC team was scared & confused for 58 minutes & counted their blessings to have escaped that night with a win, tainted of course. That team had NEVER seen anything like what they walked into that night. I was pretty young at that time but I still get goosebumps remembering the "feeling" that was in the air that night. I've been to all the big games in TS since that time & there have been some "moments" that gave me chills & brought back memories from being in TS in 79' but nothing I've seen/heard has intimidated another team quite like the atmosphere that night.
