About twenty years ago a friend's shite zu ate a whole box or World's Finest Chocolate while we'd stepped out. It then proceeded to shite and puke all over the house on her brand spanking new carpet.
The dog made out just fine with no lasting problems. The carpet, not so much.

My vet fed his dog a hersheys kiss every day for 15 years. Large amount is a problem. 3/4 of candy bar shouldn't be. Dog is likely going to shite all over your mom's house though, so you have that going for you.

sisters toy poodle got into a giant Toblerone my parents brought back from Europe when I was a kid.
