That dog will likely be fine.

My sisters 10 lb mutt ate an entire 1 lb bag or Hershey's Kisses wrappers and all, and wasn't phased a bit.

Once again I ask: how many dogs did you know that died of chicken splintering?

My dog got into a bag of peanut M&M's. He ate the coating and chocolate off of every M&M and left the peanuts on the floor for me.

Even a Milky Way Midnight has relatively little chocolate. My elderly Sheltie ate an entire cookie sheet of chocolate marshmallow candies cooling on a table. I KNEW it would spell her demise. She lived three more years. No evidence of problems from the chocolate at all.

The worst chocolate is the kind you cook with (for a dog).

He'll be fine

EDIT:

just saw that it was a min-pin not a regular dobe - 15 lbs so bout 7kg

So - it ate 3/4 of a 1.76 oz bar - roughly 1.3oz of candy bar. Let's assume that not more than half the bar is actually made of chocolate (that probably being generous) so bout 0.6-0.7 oz of dark chocolate. Could be enough to give it some vomiting/diarrhea if that's actually the amount of chocolate ingested. Would likely take 2-3 whole oz of dark chocolate to get into seizures or death.

Our dog ate an entire bag of Hershey's minis with foil and the neighbors' dog ate a whole chocolate cake off the counter. Neither got sick. It's probably gonna be ok

I found him a new home soon after. A friend with lots of land for him to run.

No shite, my dog will belly crawl through broken glass to find chicken bones. It is just amazing they survive at all without some human to take care of them.

As usual ot protocol. Anything in this thread should be taken for a grain of salt. That said. I'm sure the dog will be fine.
