Yep, and my post was meant to piggyback off of yours. I just find it funny when people dismiss Dodge and talk about German engineering.

It's pretty cool to be able to buy a 6cyl Camaro or Mustang or Challenger (I assume they have a base model) that makes an honest 300HP. Reasonable price, solid reliablity, good looks.

Yeah. That is pretty cool. I've just always been in to some of the other RWD Japanese and now German cars because like you said, it's not like the big 3 were putting out much to be excited about during younger people's developmental years.

The charger hellcat will actually be faster, with a 204 mph top speed and quicker in the 1/4 mile die to being 12 or 17% more aerodynamic. I also find it funny when ppl dismiss dodge for Mercedes when the two share a lot of the same components, like keyless entry and go. , while modding my Challenger RT, there are actually parts with the Mercedes logo on them

At the end of the day, the Hellcat is beast!!!!

Plus it features 2 keys. Each key is a different tune. One key unlocks all 707 hp, while the other limits it to a modest ~550 horses

I have the R/t. The thing is fun as hell.

I can't imagine another 300-400 horsepower.

Mercedes handle the worst of the German brands. S class being hilariously cumbersome. Fast, but really nothing in the Merc line handles worth a shite, outside of some supercar they make.

The Challenger never appealed to me. I don't care for the Mustang or Camaro either.

911 or Corvette is more my speed. I'm willing to overlook the fact that the politically corrupt UAW produced the Corvette because it's an awesome car. I also like the CTS-V and the M3. Not the same kind of animal as the Challenger of course.

Z06 or F-Type R Coupe.

The 911 option list wore me out.

F-types are gorgeous. I'd have a hard time choosing between the new Corvette and the F-type.

You'll like this. Turn up the speakers:

The S class is a 5000+ lb sedan...of course it's cumbersome. You think the 7 series and the A8 are any better?

I know Benz's aren't renowned for handling, really only BMW is with their smaller offerings...but the Challenger and Charger are surprisingly competent handling cars...and every review of the Challenger Hellcat that I've watched and read backs that sentiment.

No doubt.

You can't even preorder a Z06 yet and think Jaguar is building one R coupe per week.

Damn $60k really isn't that much for that kind of performance. Hell a F-250 lariat is in the mid 60's
