Yes, because all they used him for was bad bubble screens. Do you really not get that? You seem to legitimately think a guy can just lose all his skills during one season, as a 21 year old rookie.

You keep contradicting yourself. One post you say you don't think it's his fault. Then you subtly say he sucks with the Lance Moore thing. Then you say you don't think he sucks. Then you say he isn't very good, and has done nothing. Make up your mind.

He has made 1 play downfield all year. That was first play of the first game. Since then he has gone down at first contact 95% of the time. Shoulda took Benjamin is all I'm saying. #1 wr in Carolina scoring damn near a TD every game.

Guess I'll say this again since you two seem to have a hard time understanding this. Payton started only using him on screens, and when that didn't work, it's like they had no idea how else to use him.

holy shite you're a retard.

i think Cooks will be good. I think Cooks will be a big contributor. However, for whatever reason, to date, Cooks hasn't done shite since the first half of week 1.

Can't get open downfield. Not enough arse on him. A little bump throws the timing off.

I started a thread similar to this one about 3 weeks ago and got hammered (of course). We did nothing to help out o line, the other cb position and got rid of Sproles and drafted a guy who cannot get seperation in first round. Also stated how out 2nd rd pick was a complete waste when you have a free agent like Dixin starting ahead of hime.

It wasn't hindsight to know drafting Robert Meacham and letting Carl Nicks go were colossal blunders. Some people have been saying so the whole time.

Not to mention Loomis clearly can't be trusted to evaluate defensive talent.

We don't need deep threats, we can't get the ball to them anyway.

You get hammered on here anytime you question Drew Brees, coaching decisions or personnel moves. You get deemed a retard or that you are football ignorant. Although there are a number of fools posting on here, stating the obvious does not make one a retard. Yes the off season has been a failure, primarily on free agency acquisitions. The draft is still too soon to decide because there should be a few years of development before making a decision. However, Cooks will be solid. When you draft a guy in the fourth and release him and then are intentionally vague about the reasons for doing so your front office begins to look incompetent.

Last I looked Nicks wasn't playing anymore. mRSA aside the offense is contingent upon great guard and center play not tackles which is why there are two very expensive guards underperforming for the saints this season

This makes no sense. Stop trying to be clever. It's not working out for you.

It's the OL IMO. Loomis has been ignoring it for the past 4 years.

When was the last time you've heard a commentator say, "look at the time Brees has". Run blocking is inconsistent too.

The OL is what's wrong with this offense.
