What is so crazy is the defense is considered better this year but the avg per play is exactly the same as last years defense.

Yards per play isn't a good indicator. Points per play/series is better, and we are much improved there.

What about turnovers and points against? It feels like Dallas is better there, but I dunno

Well here's what I'm getting at, the offense is not giving back the ball as much.

Causing:

Less TOP
Less yards
Less points


The offense has helped this defense greatly, instead of hurting them like last year.
