Kartschner's Smoked Ham Hocks are Very Good

Always pass through there when I'm on 190. The cracklin' is out of this world. They also have some nice smoked jerky @ the counter for the implus buy.

I buy multiple items there, but this is the first time I've bought the hocks. I just don't think about buying those at the smoked meat markets, which is pretty dumb as I think about it. These were miles better than those at the grocery stores. I chopped up the meat to put in the dish after it had done it's job in the simmer. I ate a lot of it as I chopped.

It's a worthy stop.
