SEC isn't getting 2. If UGA wins SECCG but loses to Auburn in reg season, there won't be an SEC team at all.

Or if Miss. St./ Ole Miss/ Alabama three way tie with one loss each to each other and Ole Miss winning the tiebreaker and the SECCG with Alabama at 11-1, Oregon, B12 Champ, B10 champ with 2 losses, then I think the SEC gets two.

Tons of ifs, but Alabama won a championship in 2011 by ifs playing out.

Not if there's a bunch of 1 loss CC and an unbeaten FSU.

If Notre Dame goes through with 1 loss that also takes a chance

If it's an unbeaten or once beaten I agree. But a 2 loss SEC team will not make it.

Honestly, I think the best four teams in the country are from the states of Mississippi and Alabama. However, there's no chance four teams from the SEC would get in.

Sec champion for sure gets in....not so sure about getting two teams in though. I assume if ND wins out they're in, FSU probably won't lose so they'll be in, then the other will be either the big 12 or PAC 12 winner. I think the Sec will cannibalize itself and only the winner will make it

I think its time to accept their is going to be 2 SEC teams this year. I have no idea how many losses the the PAC 12 or Big 12 Champion is going to have. A 2 loss Auburn might get into the playoff with their world beater schedule.

1)SEC Champ
2)FSU
3)Oregon/Michigan St (can't decide yet)
4)1 Loss SEC team (2 loss Auburn)

I think people forget it's not the best team they're looking for, but a national champion.

as of today those are my 4 teams. i doubt it's like that at the end of the year but if you were being non biased about conferences, these are the best 4.
