I think the Ridley injury and weather are to his advantage...Patriots are a pass first team and he is the dink and dunk pass catching rb...or is this wishful thinking?

Probably wishful thinking, but chances are I start him in 2 leagues. Will decide later this evening.

I sold on vereen this week while everyone assumes he'll get the majority of the carries before we come to realize its a 3 headed cluster frick.

So with McCoy on bye, Vereen or Sankey? PPR

Brandon Bolden is tentatively expected to start in the Stevan Ridley role Thursday night.
Beat writer Jeff Howe expects a rotation between Bolden, James White and Shane Vereen, with the Patriots riding a hot hand. Vereen is obviously the safest bet as we know his passing back role is intact and the Patriots have used him in some short-yardage situations before. Bolden is a desperation roll of the dice until we get some more clarity here. Oct 16 - 9:35 AM

I still can't decide between him and Miller.

I have a feeling Vereen goes HAM tonight.

I'll say this, I live in Boston and the "rain" is really more of a drizzle. I doubt it has a huge impact on the gameplan, if any at all.

Bolden is a key ST player for them. I don't think he sees too much run.

James white is james white.

Vereen eats

I need Bolden to become the man.

Not starting him but I picked him up.

They also upgraded Jonas Grey from the practice squad. He might make some noise.

I would stay far away from the Patriots backfield tonight.

4 headed monster.

And watch, Edelman will lead the Pats in rushing.

Would not be surprised I think Vereen will get about 60 yards receiving though. Rushing yards will probably be in the 50's for total?

No reason he can't have that every game. That's all I want

The rain is supposedly going to be letting up around kick off from what I heard on NFL network. Wunderground has it slowing down a little after kickoff as well

The radar is looking good also, once this storm goes through there isn't much behind it

I'm still on the fence - starting him over Joique Bell in one league and Joique and Gore in another. But I'm not happy about it. He makes me nervous. Actually, the Pats make me nervous. Actually, its just Bill.

I meant 50 amongst all four of the backs... Haha.

If the rain lets up, I'm not so sure about playing Amaro anymore. I was betting that his athleticism + rain + rookie "Graham-ness" would negate some of the coverage skills by NE. Hmm...
