It's a Vietnamese drink with crushed ice, sweet mung bean, red bean, coconut milk and jelly.

I just pounded one. It was outstanding.

They offered it with solely with the red bean or mung. I went with the combo. The red bean was an interesting addition to the texture.

What's the purpose? Caffeine ? Sweet tooth? I've never heard of that before. Oh and where can you get one?

Yes, the version w/red beans is my fave. It's kind of a distant cousin to Filipino halo halo.

It's more considered a dessert as opposed to a drink.

I prefer Sam Bo Luong over the "3 color dessert". It's nice and refreshing on a hot summer day.
