The Rams D is set up to get pressure on the QB.

Robert Quinn 0 sacks this year is just as big of a detriment as Janorris Jenkins is.

Janoris Jenkins

Was terrible. Played like absolute shite. Getting burned on that double move right before halftime was retarded.

Jake Long

Was also terrible. On one sack he gave up, he took 2 shuffles steps toward the line of scrimmage at the snap and the defensive end with zero previous career sacks ran right around him and crushed the QB.

I still don't know how it's possible to only have 1 sack through five games as a team.

I know he looked horrible last night, but he's looked very good the past 2 years...Was I mistaken in thinking he was good, isn't good now? what gives. I watched 2 niners series, 2 rams series separated by some time...both times Jenkins was getting worked.

I saw him (a 1st overall draft pick) get smoked by some undrafted backup linebacker on multiple occasions. All of their blockers (TEs & RBs included) were horrible last night at protecting their QB.

I saw Janoris get burned right before half, but it looked like he was playing the under. Where was the Safety help with 20 seconds to go before half? Just inexcusable all the way around.

Could be a new scheme. He's always been a gambler.

He's absolutely amazing at jumping short routes, getting the pick, and taking it to the house. I haven't seen many corners that are better at breaking on the ball. He's one of the best ever at it. BUT, he's completely aware of this and tries to do it all the time and gets himself burned. He seems to always be sitting on short routes and trying to make a play, and ends up making a few great plays and looking silly way more than he should.

Actually the reason they lost was the bullshite OPI on Jared Cook. Took away a first down near the red zone at the two minute warning. If they don't call it the Rams keep the ball until halftime and the score is 17 or 21 to 3 at halftime. The Lloyd TD never happens and it could be different ball game.

this! Jenkins is very good, but the niners capitalized on his penchant for jumping routes!
