Great jacket. Don't really know of anywhere that sells them for discount prices. They'll last a lifetime though.

Barbour, like Filson and other brands, seems to be pretty tight with pricing. Ebay is probably your only bet.

I think Orvis will give you 25 off a 50 dollar purchase right now, so that's something. You may have to look hard/go to a store to find a coupon, they aren't that easy to find.

What is so special about them? I hear women talking about them a lot and how they like them on guys but I would never know if someone was wearing one.

Bought one last year. They dont go on sale. Just pay the $400 and know you will look clean as shite in it and it will last a lifetime if rewaxed every 5 years or so.

Only buy those styles if you are fat or plan or wearing about 3 layers under them. They are cut reall big, you will look dumb wearing them as a simple jacket. Look at the Ashby style, cut a bit more trim

They are all the rage at UVA apparently among the frat daddys. They are ok I guess but not my style. Especially for the Deep South where it's hot as hell all the time

I've worn mine about 4 times in the last 8 years in New Orleans. The last time I can actually remember wearing it here was the Saints SB parade.

It's a great jacket and will last a lifetime. It's been worth it in places like Colorado, Chicago, New York, London etc. But it's really not practical in the southern LA IMO

End clothing. Either their US or UK site. The Ashby is the slimmer Bedale, the Bristol is the slimmer Beaufort. You'll want the extra length of the Beaufort/Bristol.
