Winn Dixie by my house often has Louisiana caught fish. Redfish, Black Drum and Tuna. They are a big chain.

Is it a New Orleans Fish House fish case? I think they process and put their stuff in Winn Dixies now.

I didn't notice. They did keep the local fish in a different way though. I only took notice to see that I did have an option now.

eating Chinese, garbage-water tilapia

I ate some Chinese fish Sunday. Like almost a lot of it. Was at the camp building a duck blind. Dude there who was too fat and lazy to be much help on the blind building was frying fish. Despite his lack of carpentry skillz, he is historically an excellent cook and a person who spends a lot of time fishing the marsh/ offshore. I just assumed what I was eating was trout. It was pretty damn tasty and I was half snockered. When the question arose as to where he caught the trout he said "these aint frickin trout. They're the frozen Chinese fish they sell down the road". I didn't eat anymore. Just ate some fries. I don't like the idea of eating Chinese sewer fish. I'm not big on anything from China. But I can't lie and say the fish was bad.. It fried up pretty damn good.

Do a lot of inshore fishing, so usually have redfish, trout, flounder, but if not I get that at Schaefer's. Typically WF or Restaurant Depot for everything else. Though I will grab the wild caught Salmon from Costco in a pinch.
