Grilled backstrap, Dove bombs and Best Stop boudin. Turnip greens and crash hot potatoes..

The culinary Mecca of the free world got pounded today by storms. Many of it's top notch dining destinations got pummeled. I have had first hand accounts of devestation at Don Tomas and Waterfront. Lawd knows how many others. Here's to a speedy recovery Monroevians.

Just saw a good bit of the roof was peeled off Waterfront. If I go by Don Tomas, I might just lose it.

Shrimp salad with a homemade Cousin's style tomato salad dressing.

pretty shitty thing to say, but doesn't surprise me. we've all had plenty of experience up here sheltering and feeding rude, ungrateful folks when they're homeless. carry on, be consistent.

I apologize as I didn't know the widespread devastation that has taken place up there. I know Entergy from down here is sending work crews up that way now to restore power to the 38K that are out. I have some MRE's I can send you if you like, they are about 9 years old.
