It's amazing how much difference a good offensive line makes

I have always believed it is the most important unit in football. Not only does it protect your QB, open huge lanes for the running game and tire the defense out but it also keeps your defense off the field with long sustained drives.

DeMarco Murray isn't the best RB in the NFL and Cowboys defense is still largely average at best, but both look great and at times like the best in the league because the Cowboys rebuilt line has been keeping the defense rested and has Murray downfield before he is ever touched.

A good offensive line changes everything for a team.

They're the polar opposites of Atlanta right now

I agree. But to play devil's advocate, the Seahawks won the Super Bowl last year with one of the worst offensive lines in the league. So it is still possible to be an elite team with a terrible line.

Romo showed some serious ability to improvise in the pocket today.

Agreed. O line makes everything easier and covers more deficiencies. I'd say an elite pass rush would be next.

You mean like he's been doing his entire career?

Easily. Running back is probably the least important IMO.

And this. I've always thought that more often than not the team that gave their quarterback more time would win.
