I imagine the leading candidates would come from Penn State, USC, Alabama or Miami.

Bama had some solid ones recently.

Ro/Hightower in 08 and start of 09

Mosley/Hightower in 10 and 11

Plus Upshaw was playing in 09, 10, and 11.

Either in 2003 or 2004, Auburn had a pretty legit linebacker tandem in Dansby and Thomas.
