Is the delusion where he says the '01 team was anything like this one?
My favorite part is when the writer pretends we got blown out by UT during the regular season, and then beats his chest for the rest of the article about how great of a comparison he made. Too bad we lost to UT by 1 score that year.
I have to ask, how many of y'all think we'd beat State or Auburn if we got a 2nd chance later in the year?

What the hell are you talking about? If you look at the game log on lsusports.net, he is exactly right. It was 26-7 when they scored with less than 12 minutes to go in the 4th. Against MSU, they scored with more than 15 minutes to go in the fourth. Both LSU teams scored on the very next drive.
Both LSU teams started throwing to get back into it. We actually finished with more passing yards than our opponents both times. It pretty much ended the exact same damn way. If you go back and look at the play by play, it is almost uncanny how the fourth quarters played out. The only difference, was that we didn't convert a two point conversion.
He is 100% right, and we got blew out by UF, the same way we just got blew out by Auburn.
