Ok - so I'm a little slow on the draw. Was at Costco today and saw one of these close up. Very cool.

I was thinking about upgrading my 2 x 16:9 23" monitors but now thinking about 1 big 21:9 screen. Any downside/upside to the 21:9 monitors?? I'll hang up and listen...

Finally a screen that can show an actual-sized picture of my dong.

I'm assuming that's portrait and not landscape.

I use one at work turned up vertically to display long spreadsheets on. they are slick.

Just saw one of these this morning in the map room at the city permit office. The lady there has one for when she pulls up plat maps and whatnot on. It was pretty sweet looking.

Sorry cant answer your question.

For productivity they're great.

I wouldn't spend a dime on the 1080p model, though.

I got one for work and returned it after a day. I didn't like it. I prefer a normal 27" widescreen

The Korean models (use the same exact panel as the LG) have always been under $300

You'll probably enjoy it for video editing, but as Blue said, get one with higher vertical resolution.

Just pointing out that this model is $50 cheaper than anywhere else. I'd rather pay the extra $20 or so for better support, faster shipping, and easier returns if necessary.
