Yea the one I have has no name. I bought it from Fabulous Roy, a local long haired no named four wheeler salesman around here. Sales em off the side of hwy 80.

Save yourself the aggravation and spend that 7-8 hundred on a name brand bike. Even if its used. Those foreign made bikes are money pits. My inlaws bought one for my daughter against my will and have had nothing but problems. Santa's dumb arse decided to get my son an electric one for Christmas last year and they are just as sorry. Polaris or Honda will be our next purchase.

You should've gotten big stew's recommendation before that purchase.

My uncle bought my little cousin a little Japanese something or another 80cc a few years back. He road it for 3 days and then while cutting a donut, back tire/rim fell the frick off and he broke his collar bone and arm.

I bought one for my 5 year old. Worst purchase I ever made, these things are absolute junk and no one will work on them when they fail to run properly after a week of owning one. My son almost caught fire when the gas started to leak from a carb seal and got all over his pant leg. I trashed it after a month because there is no warranty on this junk and bought him a Honda Recon that was much more stable (these little turd bikes will turn over very easily on your kid and hurt them) and dependable. He learned to ride properly and not to hot dog on the Recon. He's eleven now and has a tricked out Rincon with custom wheels, bumpers, racks, etc and can outride any adult. Wife rides the recon around and calls it her own.
Don't buy your kid this junk, you will regret it!

Damn.
We got a 250 2wd bear tracker when I was 12. Got another 250 2wd bruin a few years later. Still the only two bikes I've ridden (aside from jumping on a friend's here and there)

I grew up on one of these. You can even find them with a 110cc engine swap. Coolest thing you could buy your kid.

Spend the money! Comes with helmet, seat belts and a roll cage.

We got my son a chinese 4 wheeler about 3 yrs ago.It was good for him to learn on but the reliability was terrible.I had to redo the electrical system, fix the frame where the welds broke, bypass the "safety switch",and a few more things. It cost 650 new.He learned how to ride and we were able to get him a new Recon for his 10th bday this year. Its nice just putting gas in it and letting him ride.He is one happy camper.
All of his riding was on woods trails and pastures. There was no mud riding of any kind.

My uncle started his boys on similar bikes, they rode them for about 3 years IIRC. Once they got their own ranchers they were better prepared riders. I say go for it, when my little guy gets big enough he will have one.

I would find a used name brand
this, then you can almost sell it for what you paid for it in a year or 2.

Can you get a 90 and get it turned down or is he to small for that?
Posted on 10/15/14 at 10:10 am to yellowfin
My 11 year old wants this and specifically stated a NEW one

He's probably too small. I have another kid that's 2 that will use it when he upgrades so it's easier to justify cost
