I just noticed the Seafood Fest is this weekend. Maybe I wasn't looking, but this is the first notice I've seen.

LA Seafood Fest

Sounds like some decent food and the music lineup is interesting. It looks like a where are they now music fest.

Looks like a really nice event, especially if the weather is nice.

F&DBoard GTG? I assume Arse can sneak in a few 1/5's of beam and try to eat everything out there.

Looks like a fun event, but I'm going to Paragon's Rock-A-Thon instead since I got free tickets and hotel stay.

Good to know. Spending the day/night in New Orleans Sunday.

Was wanting to check out the Southern Food and Beverage Museum, but this could be good too.

That was funny.

Can't believe I'm standing at a beer booth and hear you all making the Tiger Droppings "meet and greet" right behind me.

I'm interested to check the museum out too.

Though I'm not a fan of the Chef at the restaurant there.

LL- Johnny Sanchez is open now. You could write the first review!

It's already open?

Oh man, I have 7:00 dinner reservations that I really want to be hungry for; I can't eat all day!

... or can I? It will be my birthday, after all. I should go all out fat kid.

I think they're open for lunch, but I'm not sure.

You could sneak in for an early lunch.

I'm thinking of tryign to sneak in on Friday. The pics I've seen so far look pretty damn good.

Sweet.

I'll look into it. If it's open for lunch on a Sunday, I'll definitely do that and report back :)

I went to the Beer event 2 weekends ago (probably wasn't as crowded as Seafood fest) and parking wasn't too bad. I ended up parking on City Park Ave and walked. If you're not carrying children and have 2 legs you can walk 1/4-1/2 mile. You definitely want to try to park on the Esplande side of the park and not Marconi.

I'm camping in Cajun country this weekend, but I'll be back in time to hit the fest Sunday afternoon and evening. Marc Broussard puts on a great live show...an I won VIP tix.
