80-20 rule

As a general rule, 80% of problems are directly related to 20% of causes. In the case of the US government, id argue that it is higher than 20% but we will just go with that for the hypothetical.

If you could remove or change 20% of the government, which 20% would you change? It could be laws, regulations, bureaucracies etc

Uhm, I kinda get where you are going.

I think a lot of the problems we face is a lack of a balanced budget requirement.

Constitutional Amendment requiring a balanced budget. Once you do that everything else is semantics.

A good one for the 20%. Id say baseline budgeting would be another good thing for the govt to get rid of.
