Well I wouldn't wear them to a wedding but if you need to pick something up from the grocery store I don't see what the big deal is.

if I am going to the grocery store at 8 pm at night because I need milk for some cookies...I sure as hell ain't putting on khaki shorts just to go to Walmart/Albertsons...etc...
plus you have the built in advantage that everybody else probably is going to look trashier than you...no matter what you wear

Yea, pretty much. Unless you are coming/going to the gym/workout. I sometimes stop by the grocery on the way back from the gym to grab something quick, but otherwise I don't wear that shite in public. My wife on the other hand...
