When we line up against teams (even AU), who do not have the talent man for man, and get steamrolled, it has to be the coaching. Why do we even have these arguments?

On any given year of this era, our 2nd stringers are averaging 4 stars. With the exception of bama, who can honestly line up more talent against us? You can blame it on "young guys" all you want, but we still have great players, who are just not prepared.

Everyone has attrition! Great coaching plans for that! With our talent, we should NEVER, EVER, be at such a disadvantage to anyone!

It could be that they are both ill prepared and not that talented.

I used to be a sunshine pumper....but I have seen the light.

Good bye Les...appreciate all you stand for and what your tenure has brought to LSU.

It's time to retire 3yds and a cloud of dust for some balance and good clock management.

I have heard this yr after yr with miles bn hc ; well player was over rated , for the most part I think that's bs , it's the coach and his game plans that hand cuffs these players. Why was Harris under center so much ? He don't play that way. Look at how offense has bn run when he would come in games late, and look at how it was run when he started, total opposite . There will never b an offensive player under miles win heisman , but I bet u take some of the same players and put them on another team they would

Its all on the coaches. Even if you say its talent, well, the coaches recruited this talent. The coaches are to blame especially JOHN CHAVIS!

Might as well convert the stadium into a waterpark and use the gameday parking lots as solar panel farms

Chavis has always sucked against fast, mainly passing teams...it was the reason for his leaving TN

......Our coaches are LAZY, we are not preparing correctly for the individual match ups in EACH game.

I know we lost a lot of players in D, but stop and think for a moment...

we have had supposedly great recruiting classes for years ...
so
do you believe that the players left on our roster are worse athletes than those at Kentucky, let's say...
We are being out coached....end of story

Maybe coaches need reminded they are getting paid to win championships and to represent LSU, not run the dive play over and over , have sec teams put up 500 yds on defense , and basically make LSU a joke on national tv. Our fans deserve better, and those kids on the team do also .

TCU went through a down period in transition to Big 12
What did Patterson do - he changed things up.
He hired some up tempo coaches from Houston and Texas Tech and changed the offense
Look at their start this year

I keep waiting for Rick Leach and Rob Lytle to come running out of the tunnel.

For the love of GOD Gruden, please come save our beloved program!!

ETA: I'm not in anyway suggesting he is coming to LSU, just wishful thinking.

Well-put. Succinct. But clarity of thought is not a popular thing among the pumpers.
