I had some cigars that I was not overly impressed with, so I decided to experiment.

I have a travel humidor (clear plastic kind), so when I loaded up the thing that holds the water, I mixed some bourbon into it.

Anyone ever tried this? I'm going to light it up this afternoon.

You know alcohol is flammable, right?

What a bunch of jokesters.

It's not soaked in bourbon. I put a mixture of bourbon and water into the humidifier.

Alcohol also evaporates really quickly. I think he's safe on that front.

sounds pretty good...might have to put straight burbon in the humidifier, though...

True. Expensive though (relatively), and I bet the tobacco quality is not high. Paying for the novelty/bourbon/production costs.

Put a small bit of bourbon into the humidifier with $2 cigars. Worth a try at least.

Unrelated... But I'm in whistler BC and picked up a Montecristo No. 2 as well as some other gems. I'm very excited. I'm also interested to see how your experiment turns out. The bourbon cigars I've had were horrible. I thought so anyway.

slow , quiet day, and I'm enjoying the hell out of it, I usually get dragged to the Cowboys home games but the old lady pissed me off a couple of days ago and I told her I was sitting this one out, hell I might just have to have a bourbon and a cigar, the weather is as good as it gets in Texas
