Michigan loses to Rutgers

I am going to be completely honest here. This is the first time in my life as a wolverine fan that I cannot wait for it to be over. It is so painful to watch, that I just want the season to be over. I read the posts by Alabama fans and LSU fans, and I laugh to myself, because they don't have a fricking clue what true struggling really is in college football. They think going 8-4 or 7-5 or 9-3 is a disaster.
I know I sound absolutely pathetic complaining about a football game, but watching UM football, just like watching LSU or Alabama football, is a hobby, like hiking or fishing. This surreal decline of a team that connects so many together, the past to the present, means I lose a hobby that I enjoyed for a long, long time. It's like a hiker discovering his favorite secluded area to walk through has turned into a housing development. It's like a fishermen discovering his favorite river spot is now dry to the bed itself.
Message to Alabama fans or LSU fans or Oklahoma fans or Oregon fans: it can always get worse, don't let your insane expectations cloud your perspective.

I feel your pain. Not as an LSU fan, as a someone who has faced disappointment.

I have been harsh on bigger programs and Michigan in particular recently for having too high of standard for a guy trying to turn something but if a lot of Michigan fans are starting to feel humbled they can take a step in the right direction.

I really don't think it can get much worse for LSU

LSU isn't going to make a bowl game this year.

I'm still going to Homecoming against Indiana frick it
Here's to a 4-8 season
I was still going to Tiger Stadium in the 90s with my parents when I was a kid. The first time I ever saw LSU win in person was the national championship in 2003 and I always had a blast before then when I was at Tiger Stadium. Don't see why it can't be the same with my grad school alma mater

Y'all are starting to slip down the slope too my friend. Give it about 5 more seasons and you'll be our next of kin

Not sure why you love it. It makes your win against them completely meaningless.

But Forkbeard said Michigan would kick FSU's arse.

HAHAHAH
No, OSU with Urban is never going to get as low as Michigan is now. And how the heck are we sliding down the slope? Only 3 losses in 3 years.

Stop being a drama queen fig. Nobody cares about Michigan.

Mike Archer and Curly Hallman beg to differ. When was the last time Michigan got beat 58-3 in the Big House ?

Oh so the wins don't count when one team sucks?
Might as well erase Michigan's first 20 or so wins of the rivalry then considering Ohio State had the enrollment numbers of a preschool.
