I like trying different bourbons from time to time, never tried Bulleit. What's the opinion of the board??

Well just finish my first bottle and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It will certainly go into my rotation. Good solid bourbon.

Good bourbon. Dorignacs has a fifth for $20 currently.

Yes, pretty solid value whiskey. It's usually the brand of rye I keep at the house. Great for an Old Fashioned.

One of my go-to's. Their Rye whiskey is also very good, although a little more expensive.

Guess I'm the only one, but im not a fan. There is a slightly different taste to it that I don't care for and the mouthfeel of it is unusual. But the bottle and marketing for it have made it successful. I feel there are much better sippers in that price range with much more flavor.

I'm curious which you prefer in that range.

I don't think anyone was saying it's GOAT, just a solid whiskey. I agree, they nailed it on the bottle which is attractive especially compared to some of the other easily accessible whiskeys in that price range.

This is my go to. I like that it only burns in my jaw and not my throat as it goes down.

It is a solid value and I too keep the rye around. Might get in to some tonight.

Usually a handle for like $35 too

Though I saw Rouses had a handle of Buffalo Trace for $36 this week

Yea, I understood no one was praising it, but I'm just not a fan at all. I'd rather sip on 1792, 4RsmB, Elijah Craig, Evan Williams or even Buffalo Trace (at a cheaper and tastier value). I know plenty of people like it, I just feel it's off and there isn't much there.

I like it. Has a good burn and flavor. It advertises as a frontier whiskey, and that's how I feel drinking it.

Like others have said, the Rye is great for an old fashioned or Sazerac. But the Bourbon is a pretty solid drink in that price range.
