late 2013 15 inch retina, 8gb ram/256ssd on craigslist for $1350, with 2 dead pixels. under apple warranty til june 2015

Two dead pixels?

How is this not covered under warranty?

Depends on if $200 is worth it to you to get one that has been opened and returned. This is assuming you would have to pay sales taxes for it if you bought it on Amazon, since you live in California.

A major factor in the 13"/15" decision is what you're using it for and how on-the-go you will be with it.

You posted in the same thread as me without making hateful remarks?
No unfounded accusations of me being a cop?
What is this shite?

You are slipping...

it will be used 99% at home in bed. i have a desktop that i keep in the guest bedroom. i feel that a bigger screen, and more power(quad core i7 and 256ssd) is easily worth the $250

I think 13" is the perfect laptop size. Go with the 13.

For a laptop that will truly be used on the lap and not on a desk, I think 13" is the perfect size

Agreed. I am very happy I went with the 13 and not the 15

I Personally prefer the 13in. Had the chance to get a 15 but went with 13 instead. It just felt right

no, but for $250 more i get a bigger screen, double the hd space and a more powerful cpu/gpu for future proofing. thats why I'm stuck. if i travelled a lot, the 13 inch would be a no brainer.

You watch movies in bed? Seems to me since you don't carry it anywhere getting the 15 is a no brainer.
