Plastics were dipped in A-TACS AU and the metal was Cerakoted in custom mixed colors to match. Chad at Barking Irons is the artist I just provided the canvas.

Did you and or he just cerakote the aluminum frame? Or you went with black on the barrel assembly?

I like it.
In the process of stripping the ugly arse camo off of a colt sp1 I recently aquired. Probably cerakote it.

Barrel is sorta Olive Drab everywhere even the portion inside above the bolt and the ring inside of forearm. The magazine tube is the moss color of the aluminum receiver part.

Looks a lot like mine. Tell him to quit stealing my idea and putting it on others guns. I patented that shite.

If I'd went with original idea it would've been even closer because I was thinking burnt bronze also but went with two tone instead.

Original plan was to get Franchi and do Kryptek/burnt bronze. But kryptek became overused for my taste and I like the SBE two tones I had seen so when I found the American version I switched ideas. A-Tacs camo was almost a no-go. He had to send it up north somewhere to be dipped.

I really want bottomland dipped stocks and burnt bronze cerakote, but my gun is damn near 15 years old (zero problems). By the time i bought synthetic stocks plus the dip and cerakote I could pay for damn near half of a new A5.

Decisions, decisions....

New A5 is my next shotgun purchase for myself. QR is getting a montefeltro silver 20ga for our 5 year anniversary.

damn near half
For half the price you have a brand new looking gun that handles like you've owned it for 15 years

New A5/Bottomland
The trend right now. A buddy just bought A5 in bottomland and my brother got a Franchi Intensity in bottomland.
