the jess/luke scenes are epic.

Some of my favorite scenes are with Marilyn Ross (Gran) and Emily. The bagging Gran does on Emily is just hilarious and reminds me of my grandmother doing the same to some of her family members.

I haven't spoken to my wife since Netflix started airing it. The house is a wreck and no "love time" either.

This thread definitely makes me feel good about myself. I secretly watched this religiously. Very well written and funny. Its hard to bring up that you watched it though as a guy. My wife has second guessed my sexuality .

I re watching season 4 and have realized that the whole Lorelai/Jason/Richard storyline is pretty underrated as far as the show's story arcs go.

i still hate rory for how she shunned jess when he went to yale to try and get her to run off with him.

now, i agree with her saying no, but she should have made him see the big picture, you can't just up and fricking bolt from yale, let her finish the semester out and see where things stand. keep in touch, stay out of trouble, etc.

they could have made it work. i think jess would have gone in with a clearer head had dean not been there. all that did was bring logan into the picture

Same here. Not ready for it to end. Watching this show in sequence has made me realize a couple of things:

1) Loralai is kind of a dumb ho. (Specifically the ending of season 6)
2) Logan wasn't perfect, but he was great for Rory. She was such a square before he came along. He loosened her up and taught her to cope with her problems like a normal college student... with alcohol.

I finished it two days before Thanksgiving. I enjoyed it. Season 7 was frustrating at times.

You could kind of tell that amy sherman palladino and her husband were no longer writing.
