Watching football all day and not paying a dime. The quality is wayyyy better than that compressed garbage cable companies try and sell you.

The hardware I'm using is a Mohu 50 curve. I pick up 65 channels with 15 being English speaking. All the heavy hitters are included (i.e. CBS, FOX, NBC, 2x ABC, 2x PBS). If you are on the edge my suggestion is to answer the call of the void.

The fact that cbs carries Thursday night football makes this easier.

With bunny ears in Starkville, I pick up CBS and Fox with nice picture. Could probably get more if I got a better antenna (cost like $15 at Walmart).

The rest I have been streaming on my computer hooked to my TV.

WatchESPN has got me on nearly all the CFB games I wanna watch + MNF football. NBC Live Extra streams NBC SNF games. Golf Live Extra streams golf tournaments.

Haven't had to use a bootleg stream in forever (except for UFC fight last night).

Kinda curious about these 50 foreign language channels. I had no idea there were so many.

I live in El Paso so those foreign language channels all originate from Juarez.

That makes sense. I was thinking you were getting channels from all over the world. I'd probably watch Japanese tv every once in a while.

I have the same antenna, and I am unable to get CBS where I am at. My coworker can pick it up, but he has an external antenna. While I haven't been crazy about it now that football season is here, it hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be.

However, if it wasn't for having a bit of help with WatchESPN I would be somewhat unsatisfied.

I ended up getting cable on a month-to-month basic package just for football. I'll recut the cord in Jan. it was too complicated and I wanted SECN.

I have the Mohu and I get about 30 channels of English or Spanish in Houston. Lately though the quality has gone way done and I'm not sure now. The reception just got worse for no known reason. And the Mohu didn't pick up a signal in any room except my living room.

No idea. But all the networks and a bunch of other weird channels came in great until a few weeks ago, so now I can't get CBS. I live in Katy fwiw.

One of the best decisions I ever made.

HD antenna, Roku, hulu, Netflix, and Amazon Prime.

I have a tailgater dish from Dish Network for tailgating and only activate it during football season, so that's how I get my watchespn for football.

Depending on your internet provider, you may get some streaming ESPN games without a log in. I can watch anything on ESPN360/ESPN3 on my Roku on the WatchESPN app/channel. I just can't watch the specific WatchESPN stuff. I've watched the Clemson/FSU game, the LSU/MSU game, and parts of the USC game from this last weekend on it. I was going to borrow my sister's log in since they borrowed mine last year when they didn't have cable and I did, but they have DirecTV so that wouldn't work. I texted her for a log in last saturday and fired up the Roku while I was waiting for her to reply, and clicked on the FSU game to wait and enter the password, but it just started playing without it. They also had a skyview option available on the LSU/MSU game. I watched that for a few minutes. It was kind of neat.

Not aimed at you, but there should be a giant asterisk next to anybody who says they "cut the cord", and then turns around and directly steals content using someone else's cable login credentials.

I actually agree. I will say, I only use the login for sports and HBOGo.

For the most part, I watch Netflix and stuff I find on YouTube.
