I've had iPhones since the beginning and never busted one.

Waiting on my case to come in :babghead:

I got my case Friday. Phone arrives tomorrow. Opening the phone box over a bed on a carpeted floor. Placing phone in case on bed. Then going to activate it.
And, yes, I cracked my iPhone 4s within 12 hours because there were no cases available.

What case did you get?

If you can buy the display assembly yourself it doesn't look like a hard fix. Google iPhone 6 tear down. I saw a video the other day.

Why I always have my case picked out and ready before I get a new phone

Glad they're staying away from the god-awful iPhone 4 design that made screen replacements take 3 times as long as it should. I'm sure I'll soon be replacing iPhone 6 screens for all female relatives and co-workers and wife's friends.

A few months before I was up for my upgrade I decided to take my iPhone 4 out of its case and just let fate take over. Ended up having that phone for over another year and only ended up with a minor crack on the bottom left side of the front(which didn't even interfere with the screen). I dropped that bitch a lot too.
I know this 6+ I'm waiting on will shatter immediately though, so this one will be in a case.

I liked the 4 series but man you're right. From a repair perspective it was a nightmare. You shatter the glass and literally have to take every single component out of the phone.

I remember opening my Iphone 5 I think it was, it was balanced right on top in the box and hit the floor as soon as i pulled the lid off the box. I never understood why they box them like this. Now I open them over a pillow.
