Here's just a few quotes that can be found going back to 2003-04, all the way up to the present. I took out the OC names, and I took out the schools name because you can fill it in with OSU, LSU, or any of his OC.
Dax Garman playing in first organized football game since 2009 for Oklahoma state throws for 390, 4td, and a rushing TD for ones ridiculed head coach Gundy (while he was under les miles at same school.) Also, The once ridiculed Gundy cannot keep an OC because they keep getting picked up as head coaches and moving up the ladder. Take a look at the new one.. OSU OC

Sooo, is it the OC, or the HC? Who was and is the problem?

"I am tired of watching the most predictable offensive play-calling in the nation. We will have too much talent returning next year to let it be squandered by ******!
If Les Miles doesn't have the guts to try a new offensive coordinator, then he can go, too."

Yet, this all ultimately ties back to the progression of the QB. Thus far, ***** fans are experiencing the growing pains. These are the steps any QB takes on the path to excellence.

*****has one of the most run-dominated offenses in the country. The ****** have attempted the third fewest passes in the country this year, ahead of only Navy's triple option and Rice's wishbone-option

Go look! He opened up Mett for a while, then he slowed that down big time as things went on in big games, scared to lose!

oh...so that must be why LSU was the first team in SEC history with a 3000 yard QB and 2 1000 yard receivers.

it all makes sense now

Baton Rouge - There was no shortage of questions for LSU Coach Les Miles Monday regarding possible solutions for the Tigers' offensive woes two days after a 14-6 loss to Florida.

LSU vs. Florida
Photo by Brett Duke, Nola.com / The Times-Picayune LSU Tigers coach Les Miles said he has no intenton of replacing starting quarterback Zach Mettenberger.

Miles ran down each one and returned the volley at his weekly press conference.

"Will Miles change coaching duties? Are you considering one of the more mobile backups in place of starter Zach Mettenberger? Do you self scout your offensive scheme? Has the offense become too predictable? Is it the injuries and other attrition? Is there enough leadership? Are you happy with the play calling? Is the receiver group

These people are the best.

I love to remind people of how Landry and Odell use to drop perfect passes that hit there hands as Freshman and Sophomores.

Not making excuses, I just think with experience and time this team will be fine.

No, they aren't. There is a contingent of LSU fans who have never, will never, and have no intention of moving past Tennessee 2005.

Sad to say, but we all either know a handful of these asshats or are one and will not admit it. They've wasted the better part of the last decade bitching about a guy running a program going through it's shiniest Golden Era of all time...because even though it was the best it had ever been it still wasn't shiny enough.

Like a broken clock, they will eventually be right. Until then, they are the idiot screaming at the top of their lungs at Miles in the stadium embarrassing their wives and kids and generally making the place fricking miserable.

Im simply making the point that every single year we hear QB complaints, or OC complaints, or 1 year away. The NC game when Bama made us look stupid, everyone said he should have played the backup, but the difference was that Bama knew every single predictable play we were running. His anomaly season of "mad hatter" wont happen again. He will never again reap the rewards of so many bad coaching decisions the way he did. He may get 1-2 here and there, but we are stuck in a pattern of winning enough cupcake games, tacking on 1 good win a year, and going to a non BCS bowl. Doing so would be less painful if we actually were fun to watch, but doing so grinding the ball against ULM and Catholic High is barely bearable to watch! We sure could have used some passing practice against those cupcakes, surely this GREAT COACH knew his defense was inferior right?? Surely he knew he'd need to score a bunch to beat good teams right??
Probably not! Les is Les and he isnt changing anything for anyone! Please for the love of god Michigan, come get your man!!

FYI, I said Mett's first season under center that he would be lighting it if he played for a real offense! I think he was held back big time!

2013
Mett YPG in aug/sept.....279.6
Mett YPG in November.....196.7

221 ypg vs ranked teams

Maybe, but I can say it seemed like CLM or somebody did seem to keep his foot on the JLee brake pedal some games, even when JLee was leading the LSU offense to success not seen during JJ's previous tenure. I realize he had trouble with Bama (reg season LSU win), and credit to JJ for coming in and finishing the win. But after that game, what kept JJ playing more and JLee playing less? Or should I say "who kept JLee playing less and JJ more?"

Do we NEED to keep doing this? I mean...there is an answer, and it has been stated on here n numerous times.

If you don't like that answer, just say so...but are we going to pretend it hasn't been asked an answer 100 times by now?
