I see an O line that is lost. What was to be our strength has become a huge question mark.

Why is your linkedin profile included in your bio. This will be bad news when you start hard legging in threads on the OT.

Losing Trai Turner hurts a lot more than I realized. He's been a day 1 starter in Carolina and seems to be playing really well to start his career.

He's trying to teach them Zone Blocking and they're NOT getting it. Too much thinking on your feet and team work involved. Individual brute strength and force are not required as much in ZB. Having all 5 OL's on the same page are required. Not a good time to teach ZB when you have two inexperienced QB's as well. Grimes said after he was hired that he wanted a certain type of OL at LSU. Will take a complete flip flop in OL recruiting philosophy to make sure Grimes gets what he wants up front.

Well gee, that explains it all then. We will just absorb the loses and in a few years it will all be okay.

Kevin Mawae said the other day that it takes about two or three years to develop strong technique. Our guys are pretty much starting over from scratch. 3 or 4 months isn't enough time to break bad behaviors.

Sounds Lou Tepper-ish to me. My defense takes 5 years to implement

He may be trying to teach them something new that they're having trouble with, but it isn't zone blocking in general. We've been zone blocking for the last 10 seasons.
