I'm all in. I've never had a bad experience. Food, service and restaurant are always impeccable. Blows my mind that you get get a combo there for the same price as BK or McDonalds

I don't know how CFA could keep that experience up if they go public. I'm sure they are very successful financially, but they only have to answer to a few shareholders.
Did you see a few weeks ago, there was some investment firm out there that wrote a paper trashing Olive Garden becasue they said it gave out too many breadsticks? That is the kind of crap CFA would have to put up with.
CFA rocks because they use better ingredients, AND HIRE BETTER PEOPLE, than the other fast food chains. They can do this because no one is squeezing them for an additional penny on EPS.

This is the major key. I would even sacrifice some food quality for quality employees. Their staff is always polite, friendly, prompt, and accurate. Also, the facility is always very clean. The GOAT!

You have hit the nail on the head on what it wrong with the stock market and being a public company.

Yeah, not sure, but what I do sacrafice is time. They can get quite crowded at lunch, it's taken me 10 min before, at least, to go through drive thru. Yet, they are FAST... they just have so many customers. If there were that many cars in a McD drive through, it would take twice as long. They have good employees and plenty of them.
Cane's was like that too... although I find them slipping of late.

That is a whole another thread that I could take about for days... the whole idea of estimated EPS guidance, and beating or failing to beat the guidance, and the effect that has on operations.

CFA and Whataburger are miles ahead of every other major fast food brand, no coincidence both are private held companies.
Also, both companies still have huge opportunities to grow their market share. Very surprising how much room CFA has to grow around the state of Texas.

There's also another thing about CFA employees that looks different from your Taco Bells, McD, BK, etc.

Was trying to avoid that road...

There is plenty of racial diversity at the Seigen lane location. Every single employee there was very polite, well dressed and well spoken.
Service was crazy fast considering the amount of customers. 5 mins for 5* meal > 2 mins for 2* meal.
They are who they are BECAUSE they only hire quality employees. They have a relatively limited menu, but they do what they do very, very well.
Agree with the Canes statement above. Chicken fingers have gotten notably smaller in the last 5 years.

If CFA goes public, I'll buy enough shares to open that son of a bitch on Sundays. Maybe after church. 12-8

Whataburger can be very inconsistent by location.
In-N-Out (also privately held) is the CFA of burger joints.

I still recall the time, not that long ago, when they didn't even sell breakfast.
Life is better these days now that I have access to chik'n minis.

Whataburger is better than In n Out Burger.

The selection process for owner/operators is very stringent and, once selected, they are required to spend almost 40 hours a week in the facility. On top of that, they require a certain amount of community service/activities out of each operator and their facility. With that much involvement, it pretty much ensures a clean and well run establishment.
The culture that they've built from the top down at Chic-Fil-A is really impressive.
